Printed Order of Service

A printed order of service (or hymn sheet or service sheet as they are sometimes called) can be a very useful part of the funeral service. As well as being practical they are often kept by those in attendance for years after the funeral as a memento of the occasion.

The order of service can be very simple, in black and white with no pictures, right up to a glossy, colourful book with lots of pictures and photographs. Again, as with other aspects of a funeral, the order of service should reflect the person it remembers.

We can print a simple order of service ourselves or we have a reliable printer for more elaborate styles. We have a colourful brochure to give you an idea of possible options, but your own ideas can be incorporated into any of the templates. An order of service can be elaborate with many pictures and photos, or it can be very plain and simple. Our printers are very quick and efficient and can have a proof for you to look at in a very short space of time — from around 3 to 6 hours.

We can supply a large range of printed order of service and other forms of printing if required, such as prayer cards, memorial cards, pew cards and notification cards.

Often the wording to any hymns included in the service will be printed along with wording to poems, prose and readings, if required. The officiant is usually responsible for passing the layout of the service directly to us but, as with all the arrangements, you can come to us directly or if preferred use your own printer, or provide your own order of service.
